About Bobby Jo’s Pizza
Located at 5225 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214, Bobby Jo’s Pizza operates as a pizza restaurant serving Columbus in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 5–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Bobby Jo’s Pizza at (614) 396-7802; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, bobbyjospizza.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 124 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in Columbus and suggests consistent service.
Columbus is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Columbus is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Ohio's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This pizza is WORTH ANY WAIT. Flavor 10/10, cheese-to-sauce-to-toppings ratio 10/10, undercarriage 10/10…I could go on. We had doubts about the honey boneless wing sauce but it absolutely hit the marks in the flavor department. I’d like to personally thank Bobby Jo.

7/13/26: evening So I decided to order them via DoorDash and unfortunately my pizza is overcooked. The crust is already thin so overcooking makes the pizza as hard as the box it’s delivered in. There’s hardly any sauce and the flavor is lackluster. I was really looking forward based on the raving Google reviews but this is underwhelming. All I taste is burnt crust with a hint of cheese and pepperoni and I can’t eat the other half due to it being rock hard😭💔 I’ll be open to trying their subs but for $13+ for an 8inch with no sides seems a bit steep and somewhat a rip off

Bobby jos is by far the best pizza and subs and its nor even close. They have good subs too. I love the sausage he uses, cant say enough about this place, they kick ass.

Very excellent pizza here. Definitely worth the ratings and 5-star reviews you see here. The chef/owner Danny has been perfecting his pizza for quite a while and you will savor it. If you are into crispy, thin crust, as I do, you will like Bobby Jo’s. Ordered the hand tossed, and standard toppings of pepperoni, ham, salami and their home-made sausage. With a sauce and cheese that were not overwhelming and perfect amount of oregano and other spices, it is definitely a winner pizza for me. You can add custom toppings as you prefer. Bobby Jo’s is inside Donerick’s Pub. Everybody there is friendly. Ample parking and quick service. Definitely will be back to try their other pizzas (such as reviewer favorite Cap N’ Crunch), as well as hoagies. Highly recommended for you to try and hopefully will enjoy.

This is kind of crazy but what high praise for Artisan Pizza Cafe to RECOMMEND Bobby Jo’s Pizza to me. Both businesses had nothing but praise for each other’s products. Met Danny the owner. This is just another owner that is fabulous, super nice and spent the time to share his story of doing pop-up’s to spread the word about his business. I decided I would order a pepperoni/mushroom/hot honey pizza. He is using a semolina flour to get that crispy New Haven type crust with a nice char and crispy feel. The sauce had a great tomato flavor to it. Cheese was perfect and flavorful. Add those Ezzo’s pepperoni. Yummy. He is cooking his mushrooms prior to using which makes them phenomenal. Add some hot honey to finish it off and you have a great pizza. If you get a chance you have to check his creations out. This is just another example of our great small businesses in Central Ohio.
